At Adjust Your Set, I pitched and directed this multi-platform series for Marks & Spencer exploring the foods of the Americas, supporting their ‘Spirit Of Summer’ range.
In a whirlwind tour that took us through four cities in ten days, we created a series of vibrant featurettes that captured the spirit of each location and cuisine. We nearly broke DOP Leon Willis, and I was the only person on the trip who didn’t get food poisoning - possibly through having no time to eat.
Equally gruelling was post-production, with the team of editors going above and beyond to deliver on the high-energy aesthetic I wanted to achieve, through rythmic edits, music and sound design. This set up the style we would later push even further in Nando’s ‘First Heat’ series.
